Meet Tracy

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my page to learn about working with me in therapy. I currently have openings, and you can probably schedule an initial session within a few days.

Read the sections below to learn more about my ideal client, my approach to therapy, and my training!

My Ideal Client
I view therapy as a fluid process rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. My ideal client is someone who shows up fully (however you define that on a particular day), is willing to risk being open and vulnerable (even if it takes time), and brings their authentic self into our work together.

ALL aspects of your identity are welcome here. You have the right to decide what, when, and how much to share with me, and I will always strive to earn and maintain your trust. I respect your goals, culture, and beliefs, and will work to empower your right to make your own choices in life and therapy.

My ideal client may not yet see how special they are, or how they are enough just as they are—and it is my privilege and joy to remind them of this whenever they need it.

My Approach to Therapy
Therapy is a flexible, evolving process, and I adapt my approach based on what will best support you in a given moment. Whether we’re processing a tough week or working through deeper patterns, I’ll be right there with you, respecting your journey and what you bring to our sessions.

I believe in honoring all aspects of who you are, and you will always have control over what you choose to share. I respect your autonomy, and it’s my goal to provide a space where you feel safe and empowered to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

My Training
I completed my Doctor of Psychology at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, and I am currently in a postdoctoral position with Northfield Dynamic Therapy. My experience includes extensive training in college student mental health, with specialized experience working with student athletes, issues surrounding gender and sexuality, chronic pain/illness, depression, anxiety, and perfectionism.
