If perfectionism, self-criticism, or shutting yourself off from the world feels like the only way to protect yourself, I want you to know that you're not alone—and there's a kinder, more compassionate way forward.
You don’t have to carry it all by yourself anymore. Whether you're grappling with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected, you're in the right place. At Northfield Dynamic Therapy, my goal is to help you feel truly seen, heard, and understood—not just as a client, but as a person who deserves compassion and care, exactly as you are.
What You Can Expect
When we work together, you’ll find a space where you can show up authentically—whether you’re carrying pain, seeking healing, or searching for clarity. My approach is about fostering meaningful, lasting change. Whether through individual or group therapy, I help you navigate your emotions, break free from old patterns, and develop a deeper sense of self-love and resilience.
As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals with ADHD and other neurodiverse experiences. I understand how these challenges intersect with daily life and relationships and provide a space where you can thrive, not just survive.
I also work closely with clients experiencing burnout and compassion fatigue, especially healthcare and helping professionals like nurses, teachers, and therapists. If you’re overwhelmed and exhausted from giving so much to others, I will guide you through the healing process to help you restore balance and renew your energy.
For those interested in exploring deeper aspects of their consciousness, I partner with Journey Clinic to offer psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration. This involves working closely with your prescribing medical provider to ensure ethical and effective treatment, and providing guidance as you integrate these transformative experiences into your life.
My Ideal Client
I particularly enjoy working with individuals who haven’t always experienced the basic human need to feel loved and accepted—whether from others or from themselves. Often, this stems from shame-based trauma. If this resonates with you, I want you to know that therapy with me is more than symptom management, I want to help you resolve the underlying concerns. It’s about learning to step out of shame and creating a space for love, self-compassion, and growth. Together, we’ll work on cultivating a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself and finding ways to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.
Why I Do This Work
Therapy, for me, is a sacred calling. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people in their moments of vulnerability, offering support, guidance, and sometimes a little humor to lighten the load. My aim is to create a safe, caring space where you can feel understood and empowered to make the changes you seek in your life.
Outside the Office
When I’m not in the therapy chair, you might find me running in the Minnesota snow, belting out Disney songs (ask me about my ADHD parody medley for the ADHD2024 conference), or navigating the ups and downs of parenting four young kiddos post-divorce. I’m all about living authentically, with plenty of space for the messiness of real life.
